Hi, I’m Randy Reddig, sometimes known as ydnar. I love Pantone 213, Helvetica, and electro. We’re making beautiful babies.

I’m a cyclist, designer, nerd, climber, musician, tourist, rider, gamer, coder, brother, son, and friend.

I flick, ffffind, tweet, travel, dance, link, and vox. From here you can view my resume or portfolio, send me an email, subscribe to my blog’s feed, add me to your TypePad people list, or guess where I am now.

I also love Pista, skids, coffee, beer, indie rock, San Francisco, Lego, .tiff, 日本, furniture, cooking, trainwrecking, solving problems, minimalism, and the number 13.

I admire Alfonso Cuarón, Lynn Hill, Banksy, John Roebling, Neal Stephenson, Jeff Buckley, Charles and Ray Eames, Michael Chabon, Hunter S. Thompson, Steve Jobs, Rick Rubin, Frank Lloyd Wright, Larry Wall, William Gorgas, Mike Skinner, Ridley Scott, Linus Torvalds, and Miles Davis.

I read Amanda, Anil, The Atlantic, AutoblogGreen, BaGEL Radio, btrott, bradfitz, Dabysan, David, The Economist, Electoral Vote, FFFFOUND, Hot Rod, Jay, Khoi Vinh, KT, markpasc, Michael, Monoscope, nerdgirl, Political Wire, Steve, Tatsuhiko, The Times, TUAW, Typographica, Xis, and Winnie.

When I was young I was a camp counselor, made videogames and painted things, played music, and lived in seven states and two countries. I’ve never been to Burning Man, but plan to. If I had to choose, I’d rather climb Mount Everest. When I grow up I want to be a firefighter, a cargo pilot, a sculptor, an archeologist, an architect, a CEO, a doctor and a lawyer. I was a runway model once. I eat local and organic, recycle and turn the lights off when I leave. I cannot speak Boontling and do not have my own Wikipedia article.
